Abstract

Footwear with covers that are detachably fastened to the uppers of the footwear, by changing the cover attached to the upper the wearer can change the style/colour of the footwear. Each cover may be a different colour or style and may be attached to the upper of the footwear by fasteners 5a such as Velcro (RTM), poppers, ties, screws, adhesive, clasps, buttons, zips or magnets. An additional slip cover may be placed over the heel of the footwear. The slip cover may be secured under the arch of the footwear and have a strap that is secured around the wearer's leg.

Description

FASHION SHOES Description page 1 Our idea gives everyone a chance to be able to wear one pair of shoes but to be able to change them using lots of different looks and colours. To change with fashion. We start with our own slip-on shoe (ladies, gents or children's - figures 1, 2 and 3), then change the appearance of said shoe by the attachment to the shoe's upper (as shown in reference 4a) of a cosmetic covering manufactured in various leathers, suedes, fabrics, wools and metallics. Figure 5 is as it will be shaped on the shoe. Figure 6 is as it will be laid out flat - inside view). These additional cosmetic coverings will have attaching facilities inside both ends as shown in the area located as reference 5a. Figures 7 to 15 show the following possibilities by any of the following fixing methods:- Velcro (RTM) poppers, ties, screws, adhesive, clasps, buttons, zips or magnets. The ladies and girls shoes also have an optional separate slip-on casing (as shown in figure 19). These would be made in the same fabrics as the cosmetic uppers. When this is slipped over the shoe heel, it is then held in place by the top rim of the heel and the under arch of the shoe. Figure 17 shows the basic shoe. Figure 18 shows the slip on heel attached. Figure 20 shows the underneath view. References 6a and 6b are the actual fabric of the slip on heel. This facility then covers the wearer's heel and an attached strap will fit round the ankle (as shown in figure '18').
