Abstract

A security device which can be bolted to the axle hub of a motor car or caravan with the road wheel removed to immobilise the vehicle and deter theft has a main body 1 provided with holes 4, 5 for securing to the hub with security bolts and locks. The main body is mounted on a threaded bar 2 which provides for adjustment of the operating height of the device between 240mm and 460mm. A footplate 3 is provided at the other end of the threaded bar for engagement with the ground.

Figure 1 - Shows the front view of the hub lock security device holes 4 & 5 relating to a "4 stud" caravan or car.
Figure Ia - Shows the front view of the hub lock security device holes 4 & 5 relating to a "5 stud" caravan or car.
Figures 1 & 1 a - Both show the front view of the main body 1, the height screw adjustment 2, the footplate 3 and security device holes 4 & 5 for security bolts and locks.
Figure 2- Shows the rear view of the main body 1, the height screw adjustment 2, the footplate 3, security device holes 4 & 5 for security bolts and locks & the hub location hole 6.
Figure 3 - Shows the side view of the main body 1, the height screw adjustment 2, the footplate 3 and security device holes 4 & 5 for security bolts and locks. 2..
