Abstract

A faeces collecting pouch 1 includes a bag with a top flap 2 and a bottom flap 3. The top flap has a large aperture to accommodate the tail of the dog in use, and the bottom flap is fitted with two lengths of fastening tapes. To fit the device to the dog, the tail is placed through the hole while the bottom flap is taken between the dog's legs. The tapes are then brought up through holes in the top flap, crossed over under the body of the dog, and tied off on the top. When the pouch has been used, it is slid off the tail and the flaps tied together using the tapes. The bag may then be deposited in the waste bin.

Top Flap 2 is the same width of bag with one large hole in centre and two smaller holes just inside corners at end of flap.
The bottom Flap 3 is narrower in centre of bag with two holes just in side corners end of flap with length of tape already fastened to holes in flap.
To fit bag on dog thread tail through large hole in top flap and slide to top of tail and lay the flap on dog's back.
Take bottom flap between the dog's legs and then bring tapes up through holes at the end of the top flap, cross over back under dog's body and bring back to top and tie off in a bow.
When bag has been used, untie bow, pull tapes out of holes in top flap, slide flap down the dog's tail taking hold of bottom flap. Tie flaps in double knot or use tape to tie flaps up.
Bag can then be deposited in waste bin.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims The bag is easily fitted and will collect all foulings from dog's
    rear and bitched can use the bag for passing water.
    The bag can be removed easily and is hygienic to the hands due to a simple action of tying the bag up after being removed.
