Abstract

A vacuum cleaner attachment with a pipe 7 connected to a housing 8, which has an adjustable joint 3 and an adjustable aperture 2 controlled by a moveable part 1. The pipe 7 has a material fitted to it 5 to assist in removing dust and other materials from central heating radiator fins and other awkward to clean areas.

Description

241 5607 Vacuum cleaner attachment.
This invention relates to a vacuum cleaner attachment for cleaning central heating radiator fins and other small spaces that are awkward to dean.
When cleaning central heating radiator fins quantities of dust are released just to settle elsewhere. To overcome this problem this invention proposes the use of a pipe that is capable of fitting in between the fins of a central heating radiator. The pipe being connected to a vacuum cleaner's flexible hose. The pipe may be in sections to allow the pipe to be shortened or lengthened. The pipe may have fitted to it a material or materials suitable for assisting in the removal of dust and other unwanted materials whilst being sucked away by a vacuum cleaner through holes in the pipe. The pipe may be connected to a housing that allows connection to a vacuum cleaner hose, the said housing may have an adjustable aperture to regulate the flow of air through the pipe and into a vacuum cleaner's hose. The housing may also have an adjustable joint that allows the invention to be used in line or at an angle to the vacuum deaner's hose.
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1: a suitable material 5 is fitted to the pipe 7 adjacent to the suction holes 6 this allows dust and other unwanted material to be removed and sucked into the vacuum cleaner before being released to settle elsewhere. The pipe 7 is in sections as indicated in 4 that allows the pipe 7 to be shortened or lengthened. The pipe 7 is connected to a housing 8, which has an adjustable joint 3 that allows the pipe 7 to be used in line with a vacuum deaner's hose as in figure 1 or at an angle to a vacuum cleaner's hose as in figure 2. The housing 8 has an adjustable aperture 2 controlled by a moveable part 1 that allows regulation of the airflow thorough the pipe 7 and into a vacuum cleaner's hose.

Claims.
1. A vacuum cleaner attachment with an adjustable joint and means of adjusting the air flow through it.
2. A vacuum cleaner attachment, according to claim 1, with a pipe of fixed or variable length, with material fitted to it to assist in the removal of dust and other unwanted material.
