SMOKE EXHAUSTER HAVING SEPARATE BLOWING DEVICE
The invention relates to a smoke exhauster having a separate fan or blowing device to draw air or smoke out of the smoke exhauster without contacting with the air or smoke.
Various kinds of typical vent kitchen hoods or smoke exhausters have been developed for being attached or disposed above the stoves, and comprise one or more fan devices to draw and discharge air or smoke out of house buildings.
For example, U.S. Patent No. 3,795,181 to Lawson discloses one of the typical vent kitchen hoods or smoke exhausters comprising a centrifugal type fan device disposed in a fluid housing, to directly draw and discharge the air or the smoke out of the fluid house.
U.S. Patent No. 4,088,123 to Bowen, Jr. et al. discloses another typical vent kitchen hood comprising a fan device disposed in an intermediate portion of a hood, to directly draw and discharge the smoke out of the hood.
U.S. Patent No. 5,927,268 to Chiang et al. discloses a further typical smoke exhauster comprising two centrifugal type fan devices disposed in an upright or erected hood, to directly draw and discharge the smoke out of the hood.
U.S. Patent No. 6,626,972 to Chiang et al. discloses a still further typical smoke exhauster comprising a centrifugal type fan device disposed in a horizontal hood, to directly draw and discharge the smoke out of the hood.
In all of the typical vent kitchen hoods or smoke exhausters, the fan devices should directly contact with the smoke, to force and to draw the smoke out of the hood, such that the fan or blowing devices will be easily and quickly dirtied or contaminated by the smoke, and should be separated from the hood and should be cleaned frequently.
For example, U.S. Patent No. 3,795,181 to Lawson discloses a flue cleaning device to clean the typical vent kitchen hoods or smoke exhausters. However, the typical cleaning devices include a complicated configuration that may greatly increase the producing procedures and the manufacturing costs.
In addition, the fan or blowing devices of the typical vent kitchen hoods or smoke exhausters are directly disposed within the hood and may generate great noises while working.
It is accordingly an object of the present invention to provide a smoke exhauster including a separate fan or blowing device to draw air or smoke out of the smoke exhauster without contacting with the air or smoke, and for preventing the fan or blowing device from being dirtied or contaminated by the smoke.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to the invention there is provided a smoke exhauster comprising: a hood for disposing above stove for receiving smoke from the stove, the hood including a port, an outlet pipe including a first end coupled to the port of the hood, and including a second end, and a negative pressure generating device for generating a negative pressure around the second end of the outlet pipe, to vacuum the outlet pipe, and to draw the smoke out through the outlet pipe. The negative pressure generating device is separated from the hood and thus will not generate noises, and the negative pressure generating device will not be directly contacted with and contaminated by the smoke.
