Abstract

A variable output motor, driven by opposed magnetic forces, includes a switch providing speed control by axially moving the rotor. The magnets 3 positioned on the central rotor are angled so that one edge is closer to the surrounding cylindrical magnet 2. Drive for the toothbrush is transferred through axle 20 and gearing to three rotating brush heads.

Description

Perpetual Toothbrush Description
The Perpetual Toothbrush works by forces between magnets.
Fig 1 is a view from above of the Perpetual Toothbrush. Fig 1.1 is an arrangement of four magnets which are arranged as shown in the end on view in Fig 3 of Fig 3.. Each of the magnets is so orientated that one edge, of the magnet thickness edge, is nearest to the cylindrical magnet and the other magnet thickness edge is further away from the cylindrical magnet. Fig 1.2 is the cylindrical magnet of the device. The device is shown turned off, for the device to work the cylindrical magnet must surround the bar magnets. Fig 1.3 is a switch which works as a handle for pushing the cylindrical magnet towards the bar magnets or away from them. Fig 1.4 is an air seal which also stops water from entering the device. Fig 1.5 is bearing race which has the bar magnets attached to it at one end and an axle at the other end. Fig 1.17 is the axle Fig 1, is a cog of the axle. Fig 1.7 is a cog of the first set of bristles Fig 1.10 for cleaning the teeth.
Fig 1.8 is another cog this time of a second set of bristles Fig 1.11 for cleaning the teeth. Fig 1.9 is another cog this time of a third set of bristles Fig 1.12 for cleaning the teeth. The cog of the axle connects to the cog of the first set of bristles, then to the second and then to the third. Each set of bristles is arranged in a circle. Fig 13 is connector between the cylinder containing the cylindrical magnet and the switch which is used to turn the device on to speed 2 or on to speed 1 or off, shown is the connector in the hole of the off position of the device. Fig 1.14 is the on speed 1 of the device. Fig 1.15 is the on speed 2 of the device.
The cleaning bristles of the device rotate at a greater speed at speed 2 than at speed 1. There are two of these connectors one at each side of the device.
Fig 1.16 is spring which has the effect of keeping the device at speed 1, speed or off.
Fig is a side view of the Perpetual Toottlbrnsh Fig 2.1 is a handle for turning the device to speed 1, speed 2 or off. Fig 2.2 is a cylindrical magnet in position at on speed 2. Fig 2.3 is bar magnet, this rotates due to its magnetism opposing the magnetism which is centripetal of the cylindrical magnet each of the bar magnets do this. The cylindrical magnet is a south pole on its inner surface. The bar magnets each nave a south pole face which faces the inner surface of the cylindrical magnet. Fig 2.4 is the axle cog. Fig 2.5 is a cog which connects to the axle cog of a cog of a set of bristles, Fig 2.6 is a cog of this set of bristles.
Fig 1.7 is cog of a set of bristles. Fig 2.S is a cog of a set of bristles. Fig 2.9, Fig 2.1D, and Fig 2.11 l are recesses of the axles of the sets of bristles.
Fig 2.12 is a set of bristles. Fig 2.13 is a set of bristles. Fig 2.14 is a set of bristles. Fig 2.15, Fig 2.16, and Fig 2.17 attach the sets of bristles to the rest of the toothbrush allowing them to rotate yet ensuring they dc, not allow water into the device.
Fig 2.18 is spring, shown contracted. Fig 2.19 is the bearing race of the device. Fig 2.20 is an axle of the cog which comes from the bearing race inner ring and thus from the her magnets.
Fig 3 is an end on view of the Perpetual Toothbrush.
Fig 3.1 is the cylindrical magnet. Fig 3.2 is a bar magnet. Fig 3.3 is the bearings of the bearing race.
Fig 3.4 is a switch. Fig 3.5 is the switch on the other side of the device.
Fig 4 is an external view of the Perpetual Toothbrush. Fig d, 1 is the switch in position off, the device is shown in this position. Fig 4.2 is a stopper slot which fixes the switch in the on speed 1 position.
Fig 4.3 is a stopper slot which fixes the switch in the on speed 2 position. There is slot between al] of the switch positions of the device i.e. between off, on speed 1, and on speed 2. Fig 4.5 is a waterproofing cover.

Claims (1)

  1. PERPETUAL TOOTHBRUSH CLAIMS
    1. The Perpetual Toothbrush has four bar Dragnets that are attachers to bearing race so that they can rotate, a cylinder Cal magnet i s pushed around these bar magnets, the speed setti ng of the device i s dependent on the amount the cylindrical her magnet surrounds the bar magnets which is dependent: on the position of a switch, the device can be switched on to speed 1, switched on to speed 2 {whi ch is maxima speedy, or turned off, due to the bar magnets not direct 1 y facing it he i nner surface self the cylindri cal magnet (the bar magnets are so orientated that a perpendicular from the line along the cerltre of each bar magnet i s at an angle to the line shalt passes through the.entre line of each lbar magnet front the inner surface of the cylindrical magnet to the Gentle line of each magnet for each bar magnet) a force is created due to magnetic fields of force being cut and the angle of the bar magnets inside the cylindrical magnet causes a resultant moment Which thus rotates the bar magnets and hence the axle of the device which then able to an arrangement of cogs rotates three sets of bristles which are used to clean the teeth, the device is substantially as described herein with reference to the accompanying
    description and drawings,
