Description

DESCRIPTION
Multi Biscuit/Pastq Cutters Allis item of baking equipment provides for the great convemence of cutting out biscuit or pastry pieces 12 (or less) at a time instead of individually, as at present. It does not infringe the mass production of these foodstuffs, which obviously entails the use of large machinery: the item shown here is intended for home cooking, or perhaps for use In small cafes where food is cooked on the premises.
Fig 1 shows a metal oblong (1) (m stemless steel or whatever other metal/material might prove more suitable) measuring approx. 12/" (31.5cm) x 93/" (24cm) and havmg a rolled or slightly raised rim (2). It has 12 circular holes (3) placed at regular intervals. The pastry/biscutt pieces can be seen through these holes (3) which will be useful for positioning the cutters (4) especially when less than 12 pieces are required.
EM 2 IS the Elevation.
E7i 3 is an angled view of the upper surface.
IS an angled view of the underside (5) which shows the 12 cutters (4) corresponding to the circular holes (3) on the top (1).
Fig's 1 to 4 The cutters (4) have a fluted edge (6).
Fig's 5 to 8 As for E7lg's 1-4, respectively, except that the cutters (4) have a plain edge (7).
All these Fig's 1 to 8 are to be repeated twice, but m decreasing sizes, i.e. Largest cutter (4) diameter approx. 23/" (6.5cm).
Medium cutter (4) diameter approx. 21/4" (5.7cm).
Smallest cutter (4) diameter approx. 13/4" (4.5cm).
All with a height of approx. 13/8" (3.5cm). The size of the oblong (1) will decrease m proportion.
Fig. 9 It IS intended that the cutters (4) should be an integral part of the top (1), but should this prove difficult for any reason then the cutters (4) would have to be made separately with the height increased by approx. /", this extra height (8) to come up through its corresponding hole (3) to be rolled, or smpped and turned over, and secured to the main oblong (1). Or, if preferred, the turned-over edge could be welded to the underside of (1).
Measurements are shown as approximate because, until this item IS made Up, it may be difficult to gauge to wlthm, say, /4".
