Abstract

A garden spike pole holder comprises a short metal tube 2 with a pointed end 3 and a shoulder 1. The spike is knocked into the ground sop that the shoulder is at ground level. The spike then acts as the support for any pole which is to be held in a substantially vertical position in the ground. The holder may also be fitted with an adapter (figure 5) which comprises a male part 11 for insertion into the ground spike and a female part 10 which will accommodate a pole or shaft of considerably larger dimensions than that of the spike pole holder. The holder may be used to support a wide variety of posts, including for example a bird table, an umbrella or a clothes drier.

Description

Garden Spike Pole Holder and General Apparatus Support System
Description
This invention is a system for holding up apparatus in and around the Garden it is designed to be able to be adaptable to many different garden games and other apparatus.
In brief it is a short piece of metal tube with a point on one end of it and a shoulder at the other. The pointed end is knocked into the ground using a hammer and the rubber knocking protector provided, this tube stays in the ground and then other attachments are inserted into it and are held in a firm and vertical position. This eliminates the need to concrete things into the garden and also holds things like umbrellas in a safe manner.
It's top most surface is level with the ground so it can be mown over with a lawn mower.
A multiple of these spikes can be inserted around the garden to give a wide scope for positioning of equipment.
