Abstract

A method of cutting off a gas supply of a gas burner to prevent over evaporating a liquid during cooking comprises turning the gas off as a function of the amount of evaporation of a liquid monitored using a weighing system attached or integral with the burner. The weighing system may be used in combination with an electrical cooker. Liquids include stocks, soups, sauces, casseroles or curries. The weighing system may be programmable.

Description

Description
The weighing systum for a gas or electric burner set up, with gas cut offwhen liquid evaporates to a lesser weight. Is an idea that could be incorporated into cooker/stove top set up.
When water or liquid is boiling and the steam is coming out the water/liquid naturally reduces in volume, hence reduces in weight, the same applies to stocks, soups, sauces, caserols, currys etc. The idea is there would be a scale incorporated into the burner set up (the part of the cooker on which the pot actually stands) The scale could be programable so that when the weight in the pot reaches a certain level there wild be a cut of in the gas. Hence saving the contents of the pot over reducing and burning in the bottom of the pot, (could even prevent a fire) This would be especially usful for chefs but could be used in an ordenary house cooker, saving peoples dinner, & money.

  1. Claims 1, The weighing system for a gas burner set up with gas cut offwhen
    liquid evaporates to a lesser weight is an attachment or built in device for a cooker top where the saucepans sit 2, The weighing system as claim one monitors the weight of the contents of the sauce pan while cooking is in progress 3, The weighing system as claim one & two is a safty/conviniance device for a cooker 4, the weighing system as claim one, two & three has a built in springloaded weighing sensor, gas cut off device, digital monitor and control panol 5, The weighing system as claim one, two, three and four is in affect an intelegent gadget as it can monitor weigh redution in a sauce pan as the steam comes out and knows when to stop the gas as pre programmed/set
