Abstract

The remover is an attachment for a steam generator and includes a handle 2 and a scraper blade 3. The blade may be removed and replaced when required. A threaded pipe 1 enables the remover to be connected to a steam hose nut. A baffle 4 is located under the handle to direct steam away from directly underneath the handle. The remover allows steaming and scraping of the wallpaper to be carried out single-handedly.

The invention relates to an all-in-one steam wallpaper remover.
There are many steam generators on the market for softening wallpaper to facilitate its removal from walls, but they all have the disadvantage of needing both the operator's hands to steam and scrape at the same time. Often, in awkward spaces, it is difficult to use the steamer in one hand and the scraper in the other, which means that time is lost whilst exchanging tools.
The object ofthis invention is to enable a person to both steam the wallpaper and remove it in tight spaces where it is difficult to manoeuvre two tools simultaneously.
Accordingly, this invention is to provide a steamer attachment with a removable/replaceable blade, which will enable the user to both steam and scrape using the same attachment. The attachment is also smaller than the usual size of steamer plates and therefore more manoeuvrable.
Preferably, the attachment would be moulded in one piece from heatresistant plastic, with a 50 millimetre wide blade from a craft knife inserted.
