Abstract

A garden screen comprises sections hinged to each other, each section comprises a frame <B>1</B> and at least one removable panel <B>3</B>. The sections may be connected by elongate hinges <B>2</B> and removable feet <B>4</B> may be provided. The panels <B>3</B> may be of coloured glass.

Description

GARDEN SCREEN
This invention relates to a garden screen.
Garden screens are usually fixed in place as part of a fence, or fixed into the ground,, to provide a feature. These do not provide flexibility of choice, or possibility of change when in place without expending time and effort.
Ian object ofthis invention is to provide a garden screen which allows ease of movement and ease of change ofthe effect of the garden screen,and manocuvrability.
According to the present invention there is provided a portable garden screen comprising hinged sections, means for releasably securing each section to another, each section having one or more glass panels, means for releasably securing glass panels to frame section, coloured glass panels being removable and interchangeable with other glass panels. The screen being capable of being dismantled when not in use. Removable feet being provided. As many sections capable of connection together as required. Each section being capable of being dismantled into small pieces, with means for releasably securing, for storage.
Preferable the screen is made of wood or metal or plastics materials or a combination ofthese materials with the panels made of coloured glass.
A preferred embodiment ofthe invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawingsin which: Figure 1 shows a possible front view of a whole screen.
Figure 2 shows a coloured glass panel in place.
Referring to the drawing, as shown in Figure 1, the screen comprises a section 1 with hinges 3, coloured glass panels 3 and removable feet 4. Each section 1 being releasably secured to another by, for example, a pin or rod or clip or other similar means not shown). As many sections 1 can be connected together as required. The screen can be entirely dismantled when not in use. Each coloured glass panel 3 being removable from the Bame 1 and replaceable with another, being interchangeable, being releasably secured by a pin or rod or clip or other similar means ( not shown).
Each section I capable of being dismantled further into smaller pieces for storage, each piece being releasably secured to another by, for example, a catch or other similar means ( not shown).
Figure 2 show part of coloured glass panel 3 in situ against the section frame 1, being releasably secured within the frame by, for example, a catch, or other similar means ( not shown).

Claims (3)

1. A portable garden screen comprising hinged sections, means for releasably securing each section to another, each section having one or more coloured glass panels, means of releasably securing glass panels to frame section. Coloured glass panels being removable and interchangeable with other glass panels. Each section capable of being dismantled into smaller pieces with means for releasably securing. The screen is capable of being dismantled when not in use As many sections capable of being connected together as required, with means of being releasably secured.
2. Removable feet being provided.
3. A portable garden screen substantially as described herein with reference to Figure 1 of the accompanying drawing.
