Abstract

The adjusting device for a seat back upholstery comprises a housing (21) with a closed wall at one end and an open wall at the other, and a threaded rod (23) rotatably fastened on the housing has a threaded center section (231). A locking screw component (22) is rotatably fastened on the housing and has one side which has a threaded bore (221) with which engages the threaded section of the spindle. The threaded bore in the locking screw component is C-form in construction. A connecting wire (11) is fastened by one end to the seat back upholstery and fitted to the locking screw component by the other end.
