Abstract

A bag 1 suitable for 'boil-in-the-bag' cooking has a mouth at one end and an opposite closed end in which there is an array of perforations 3 forming the shape of a cross. Water may enter or drain from the bag through the perforations. A tab 2 adjacent to the closed end provides for easy lifting of the bag. The mouth of the bag may be closed by tying its gathered neck 4 which will remain relatively cool during cooking so that the bag may be held by it.
