Abstract

A chart is provided on a white board which has a row for children's names, space for a date, a column for indicating activities to be performed, a row for indicating a reward and spaces for recording a particular child's performance of an activity e.g. by means of stars. Pre-printed magnetic activity strips may be provided for attachment to the chart, and/or blank strips may be provided on which parents can add their own activity. Similarly, magnetic strips for indicating rewards in pictorial form may also be provided. The chart may be adapted for couples, schools, nurseries and offices.

Description

DESCRIPTION
A chart (see attached), on a white/wipe board, which can either be magnetic to attach to a fridge or have wall fittings.
This chart helps in the development of the relationship between child and parent/guardian and make for a more harmonious environment in the home, as it focuses the child on the areas in which they need to learn/grow.
The chart lists the children's names along the top (using magnetised individual letters, from which the child's name can be made up). It has space for the year/month/week, where magnetic strips can be added accordingly.
The parent firstly chooses from the Activities List a magnetic strip (e.g. 'saying please thank you') together with one to nine other activities that they wish to concentrate on that week. There are also blank Activity strips so that the parent can add their own Activity using the pen provided. The child/parent then have to agree what 'Reward' the child should get, from the list of Rewards - if they win a certain agreed number of stars that week, shown as magnetic golden stars, placed under the child's name alongside the activity. The Rewards are also magnetic strips, but in picture form, so the child can actually visualise the Reward to which they aspire.
The chart can be adapted for couples, schools, nurseries offices.
