Abstract

A heat alarm includes a temperature sensor that detects temperature and alerts when out of the pre selected range. It also includes a changeable temperature range by means of a button, switch or dial. The alarm includes an audio, visual or sensory alert that can be selected individually or collectively. The alert device could be either a mobile phone or a separate device, which receives information transmitted from the sensor or as one unit.

Heat Alarm.
This invention relates to a heat sensitive alarm of type that includes a sensor and remote device to trigger an alarm that is placed either in the same or a different location from the sensor. The sensor can be placed anywhere that should be maintained with in a certain temperature range.
Many things are stored/transported, which should be kept with in a certain temperature range, such as food produce and live animals. The object of this invention is to alert somebody temperatures have gone outside of the pre-set temperature range. Allowing immediate action to be taken to prevent farther temperature gainiloss Accordingly this invention provides an early warning system for pre set temperature extremes within a car, Ridge, animal transporters, chiller compartment or anything where temperature is of importance to preserve food' animals or produce.
Preferably this alarm can be remote by transmitting to a receiver or even a mobile phone, or it can be an all in one unit. It can also be powered by solar, battery, mains or by car cigarette lighter. Preferably the heat alarm is made of metal or plastic material. The Alert will be audio, visual and sensory by means of an alarm sound, flashing light and vibration.

Claims (6)

1. Heat alarm including an alert device, which can be contained as one unit or as two units, one for the sensor/transmitter and one for the alert device, which would receive information from transmitter to a mobile or alert device.
2. A heat alarm as claimed in 1 where a device could sense a minimum or maximum temperature as determined by the operator, by means of dials switches or buttons on the heat sensor unit.
3. A heat alarm as claimed in 1 and 2 where a device could transmit a signal either to a mobile phone or alert device.
4. A heat alarm as claimed in 3 where a mobile phone or alert device will receive information from the sensor/transmitter causing an audio, visual or sensory alarm to occur.
5. A heat alarm as claimed in 4, which is powered by battery, mains, car cigarette lighter or solar power.
6. A heat alarm as claimed in preceding claims, which is made from metal, plastics, materials or wood or from a combination of these materials.
