Anti-dazzle screens for drivers.-A device for protecting the eyes of drivers of motor or like vehicles from the glare of approaching headlights comprises a screen E of fan-like constructions formed of a number or pivotally mounted strips of tinted translucent material normally disposed in a casing A attachable to the windscreen or similar support and adapted to be spread open for use or closed by rotating one side or arm about a pivot C bv means of either a hand-knob or a Bowden-wire control. In the construction shown, the fan consists of a series of narrow sticks of tinted celluloid each provided with spaced upstanding tongues F, so that. by rotating one extreme stick, the remaining sticks are successively operated to spread or close the fan as the case may be.
