Abstract
A container such as a food container may be mounted on a further container such as a beverage bottle (1). The containers may be attached directly or by means of a separate attachment unit (5a) which may have a carrying strap. They may be disposable or reusable and may be microwaveable.
Description
DEMOIJNTABLE ATTACHMENT UNITS FOR CONTAINERS
This invention relates to demountable attachment units for containers.
There is a need of having containers especially beverage and nutritional containers together as a unit so to reduce the possibility of loosing out in packing \ carrying one or the other item.
This present invention sets out to combine a bottle and food containers via an attachment mechanism or an attaching unit which may or may not have a handle or strap to enable carrying them as a portable unit.
The attachment unit can be used for various purposes and can be adapted to accommodate different types, shapes and sizes of standard containers.
It can be especially suitable for parents with young children, who would always like to make sure that they have packed /carried a drinks and food for their children of different age groups in a convenient manner.
To form a unit the compartments can be made to attach to each other directly via an attachment mechanism build onto the containers.
The attachment mechanism can also exist as an independent unit adapted to accommodate standard containers in the market.
According to the present invention there is provided two containers, which could be a bottle and a rectangular container [of various forms] with the attaching mechanism built onto them.
The in built attaching mechanism enables the containers to form a portable unit. The containers with the in built attaching mechanisms and the attaching mechanisms as an independent unit can be made with reusable, microwaveable and disposable materials.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure 1 shows in perspective, the side view of two containers attached to each other via an in built attaching mechanism.
( Figure 2 illustrates the side view of the bottle alone with the attachment site and strap holder visible.
Figure 3 three-dimensional view of a demounted nutrition container alone with the lid open and the attachment site.
Figure 4 A three-dimensional view of the demountable beverage &nutrition Container. Figure 5 an independent attachment unit without the containers.
Figure 6 Bird's eye view of an independent portable attachment unit with one of the containers in place [bottle].
Referring to the drawing figure 1 the beverage and nutrition container comprises of a bottle 1,which has a strap holder la on either sides, a lid lb, an over cup 1 c, attachment site I d, 2a which the nutrition container 2,in place. Figure 2 shows an elaborate view of the attachment site on the bottle id Shaded in black, the strap holder 1 a, lid 1 b, and over cup.
Figure 3 shows a three-dimensional view of a demounted nutrition container 2 that have an attachment site 2a. It also shows a hinge 2b,an open lid 2c.
Figure 4 shows a three-dimensional view of demountable beverage and nutrition containers as portable unit Figure 5 shows an independent attachment unit with strap I a, body of the attachment unit Sa and the attachment site 2a for the food container.
Figure 6 shows a bird's eye view of an independent portable attachment unit with one container in place 1, with supporting handles 5b and body of the unit 5a In order to demount or separate the containers from the bottle, you simply glide the containers upwards [if it's the gliding type] or unclick them in the Appropriate directions [depending on the attachment mechanism used].
To remount the containers, perform the action in the opposite direction.
