Abstract

There is disclosed a writeable plastic envelope, pocket or wallet made from clear / translucent / semi-opaque / opaque plastic. This envelope, pocket or wallet has 2 seals, one a permanent seal and the other a temporary seal which allows repeated opening and closing of the envelope, pocket or wallet. When the flap is closed over the opening, the resealable tape / glue adheres the flap onto the body of the envelope, pocket or wallet, thereby, temporarily sealing the envelope, pocket or wallet and permit repeated usage of these envelopes, pockets and wallets. When permanent sealing of the envelope, pocket or wallet is required, the protective layer on the permanent seal is removed and the flap is closed over the opening of the envelope, pocket and wallet.

The present invention relates to envelopes, pockets and wallets.
5 Background Art
Conventional envelopes, pockets & wallets are made from paper/paper boards.
Paper envelopes Pockets wallets tear easily and need to be replaced once they are worn and when sealed' do not allow easy opening without damaging them.
Summary of invention
10 The present invention has therefore to develop a plastic envelope, pocket or wallet which is writeable, does not tear easily, and can be used repeatedly. When sealed, it can be reopened until such times when you need to permanently seal it.
The above features are made possible by the following: 1 The plastic material of the envelope, pocket or wallet protects the contents 15 from dirt and moisture and the envelope, pocket or wallet is water-resistant when sealed; 2. The plastic material of the envelope, pocket or wallet does not tear easily and is writeable; 3. The envelope, pocket or wallet has 2 seals, one a permanent seal and the other 20 a temporary seal which allows repeated opening and closing of the envelope, pocket or wallet.

A resealable tape or glue is applied along the flap or close to the opening of the envelope, pocket or wallet. After inserting documents / items through the opening of the envelope, pocket or wallet, the resealable tape or glue adheres the flap onto the body of the envelope, pocket or wallet. The resealable tape or glue allows 5 repeated opening and resealing of these envelopes, pockets and wallets, thereby permitting repeated usage of these envelopes, pockets and wallets.
A permanent seal with the protective layer is also applied along the flap or close to the opening of these envelopes, pockets and wallets. When permanent sealing of the envelope, pocket or wallet is required, the protective layer is removed and the 10 flap is closed over the opening of the envelope, pocket or wallet.
Specific Example In order to allow the present invention more readily understood, the following description is given, by way of example, of specific embodiments of a Writeable
plastic envelope, pocket or wallet made in accordance with the present 15 invention. Reference will be made to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure 1 a & lb show the Writeable Plastic Pocket or Wallet when open (1 a) and when closed (sealed) (lb).
Figure 2a & 2b shows the Writeable Plastic Envelope when opened (2a) and when closed (sealed) (2b) 20 The Writeable Plastic Envelope, Pocket orWallet is made from clear / translucent / semi-opaque / opaque plastic and contain a permanent seal and a temporary seal.
The permanent seal is placed along area a and/or c (diagram 1 a & 2a) and the resealable tape/glue line is placed on area b and/or d (diagram 1 a & 2a). When the flap is opened, (diagram la & 2a) documents / items can be inserted into or
retrieved from the envelope, pocket or wallet with ease. When the flap is closed (diagram lb & 2b) over the opening, the resealable tape / glue adheres the flap onto the body of the envelope, pocket or wallet, thereby, temporarily sealing the envelope, pocket or wallet and permit repeated usage of these envelopes, 5 pockets & wallets.
When permanent sealing of the envelope, pocket or wallet is required, the protective layer on the permanent seal (a or c) is removed and the flap is closed over the opening of the envelope, pocket & wallet.

Claims (1)

10 A Writeable Plastic Envelope, Pocket or Wallet is made from clear / translucent / semi-opaque / opaque plastic. This envelope, document, pocket or wallet has 2 seals, one a permanent seal and the other a temporary seal which allows repeated opening and closing of the envelope, pocket or wallet. When the flap is closed over the opening, the resealable tape / glue adheres the flap onto the body of the 15 envelope, pocket or wallet, thereby, temporarily sealing the envelope, pocket or wallet and permit repeated usage of these envelopes, pockets & wallets. When permanent sealing of the envelope, pocket or wallet is required, the protective layer on the permanent seal is removed and the flap is closed over the opening of the envelope, pocket & wallet.
