Abstract

A self contained hand held hair cutting apparatus 1 used in conjunction with a vacuum suction source comprising shears 7, in a driving combination with a motor 6. The suction source may be remote from the cutting apparatus 1, see 5 fig A, or fan 11 within the cutting device. Hair is sucked into the nozzle 2 by the suction fan 11 through the bag chamber 9 and chamber 10. The hair is then cut by the shears 7 prior to being sucked into the bag chamber 9. In addition there is also a facility for adjusting the length of hair to be cut.

Description

Self Contained Hair Groom.
The present invention relates to a hair cueing and grooming device.
There are various hair cutters on the market, whereby you use separate nu nbered attachments that cut certain lengths of hair. Say a number 1 for a short cut and so on. They are usually used by a barber who controls the unit to cut a persons hair effectively. These units cannot be effectively controlled by a person who would try to cut their own hair, because it takes some precision to control the unit and to correct the attachment through the hair. Also if certain parts of the head are preferred at different hair lengths it takes further accuracy to achieve this by the barber. Also the hair usually falls on the person and to the floor to be cleaned up later.
Apparatus and system have now been devised, (Namely "Hair Groom") According to the invention, there is provided a suction device with certain attachments that incorporates in this example a manual or powered vacuum suction cutting device.
i) A self contained hair vacuum cutting device, or; ii) A moderating suction device attachment that can be used with an existing vacuum suction unit or purpose built unit, whereby; id) A tube attachment incorporates a manual cutting device that can actuate the shears by a plunger spring or similar return system by hand, or; iv) A powered cutting device, whereby any system; v) Can be controlled by a person cutting their own hair, that; vi) Incorporates individual placed increment adjusting attachments to cut certain lengths of hair at selected areas, whereby; vii) The hair when cut is contained in a replaceable container, for later disposal, and is also; viiu) Ideal for animal hair cutting whereby bodily parts can be kept clear of the shears and certain areas can be controlled for certain lengths of cut.
The invention will now be described in specific embodiment by way of example only and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig A: Shows a view of the comprising structured vacuum and attachment parts.
Fig B: Shows an internal view of a cross section of a self contained hair cutting and vacuum system and device.
Referring to the drawings, and initially to: Fig A: 1 is a manual or powered cuffing device attachment, whereby 2 is one of a series of adjustable nozzles attachments to control the length of the haircut, whereby hair 3 is sucked into the cutting device 1 that controls a cut length, whereby tube 4 conies the cut hair into a bag in the vacuum suction device 5. The vacuum device 5 can also have a varied amount of attachments for other uses such as general cleaning.
Referring to Fig B: 1 is a self contained hair cutting device, whereby 6 is the motor that drives the shears 7, whereby hair is sucked into nozzle 2 by fan 11 through bag chamber at 9 and chamber 1O, and cut at shears 7, whereby the hair is then sucked further into bag 9 through aperture 8 and trapped inside bag 9, whereby the clean hair continues through the chamber 10 through fan 11 into chamber 12 and exhausted through a vent.

Claims (12)

CLAIMS:
1. A self contained vacuum suction cutting device.
2. A self contained vacua suction cutting device that can be controlled by the user.
3. A self contained vacuum suction serviceable cutting device, with replaceable collection units and serviceable ports and parts.
4. A suction device incorporating a cutting device according to claims 1 and 3.
5. A cutting device incorporating a suction device according to claims 1 and 3.
6. A tube attachment incorporating a manual cutting device according to claim 1 to 5.
7. A manual cutting device according to claim 1 to 6.
8. A powered cutting device according to claim 1 to 7.
9. Individual increment adjusting attachments to cut certain lengths of hair according to claim 1 to 8.
10. A cutting device that can at least be hand held according to claim 1 to 9.
11. A cutting device that can be conputerised and/or programmed and/or robotically used and/or controlled according to claims 1 to 10.
12. A hair cutting device that collects and contains cropped hair in a replaceable container according to claim 1 to 11.
