Oct. 9, 1924, Heating and cooking vessels.-A device for holding down vegetables during boiling consists of a bellmouthed structure 1 having a number of slotted wings 2 and provided with a handle 5. The wings may make elastic contact with the sides of the pan 7, as in the form shown, or the lower part of the appliance may be of cast metal so that its weight maintains it in position.
