Abstract

A decorative plug cover comprises a slim ceramic disc which follows the approximate contours of a standard plug. An adhesive stip can be attached to the rear of the cover so that the cover can be attached to a plug by peeling off the protective cover of the adhesive strip and pressing the cover firmly onto the plug top.

THE PRODUCT THE PRODUCT DOMESTIC PLUG COVER The invention relates to the outward cover of a common domestic plug used on a conventional 240 I 2 50 volt appliance. The invention is a decorative disc which follows the same contours of a conventional plug. The disc is manufactured from a non conductive ceramic mixture, onto which is fired a number of decorative lithographs Affixed to the reverse of the disc or cover is a peel off adhesive pad. The decorative cover is fitted to the plug by means of the adhesive pad The cover or disc is designed to enhance a rooms décor, thus masking the many colours of electrical appliance plugs, so that the room décor is complimented. Most newly purchased appliances are now supplied with a standard Kite marked plug, but colours are often mixed. The decorated ceramic disc or cover allows colour matching and co-ordination of design in specific rooms.
The invention can be manufactured to specific customer requirements. An extensive range of decoration is available, as the different requirements can be added during the production process. The adhesive pad gives an efficient adhesive hold, but can be removed quite easily to facilitate changes of mucor The invention is supplied individually or in specific sets according to customer
requirements.

Claims (1)

  1. I/A ceramic disc, or cover decorated in many different styles. i isc, or cover it styles.
    2/A Disc or cover which can be fixed to a domestic type electrical plug.
    3/A Disc or cover which fits any standard electrical plug, and is fixed by means of a self adhesive peel off strip.
    4/A disc or cover which can be supplied, having many styles of décor.
    5/A disc or cover which is manufactured in a non conductive Ceramic, which does not cause a safety problem, pertaining To the function of the plug.
    6/A disc or cover which is made of a lightweight material, thus not causing any significant weight problem to the function of the plug.
    7/A disc or cover which is easily removed, thus causing no defacement of the plug.
    8/A disc or cover which is described and presented in the attached documents.
