Abstract

Endless chain carriers, apparatus with; articles to be displayed, rotating and oscillating supports for. -In apparatus for displaying artificial mannequins, costumes, hats, boots, shoes &c. on spindles carried vertically on a chain moving beneath an endless guideway in a platform, the spindles having toothed wheels or discs for coacting with fixed members on the platform to give a rotary movement to the spindles in one direction and then in another, each spindle 9 is revolubly mounted in a rollered member, such as a trolly 5, which is connected to the chain 2 and runs upon a track 1a within the guideway I. Each trolly 5 may be of two-part pivotal construction having its pivot coaxial with that of the spindle 9. Gear wheels 10 or rubber discs on the spindles 9 engage continuous or broken racks 11 or rubber ridges on the sides of the guideway channel to impart rotation to display tables 12 on the spindles 9. The channel is constructed to ensure engagement of the wheels 10 and racks 11. The trolly-moving pins 4a are preferably continuations of some of the chain pins, and are encased in friction rollers.
