Abstract

236,987. Pearce & Sons (Brassfounders), Ltd., G. W., anc Jones, A. E. E. April 10, 1924. Windscreens.-Comprises a tapered tongue d extending from the edge of one panel and engaging with a tapered recess in the adjacent panel, in combination with a stud e, wing-nut f, and slotted socket j. The tongue is on the member which carries the stud, and the tapered recess is formed in the member which carries the slotted socket. The recess k in which the base of the wing-nut engages is tapered. The fastening is located midway between the upper and lower edges of the panels. Rubber buffers e are provided and a flange m prevents draught between the panels.
