Abstract

236,772. Boyd, F. A. Sept. 26, 1924. Boxes combined with calendars. - Boxes or folders for handkerchiefs &c. are provided with a decorative article or device, such as a calendar, which is detachably held in position by means of a number of slits or projections or tongues in or on the top of the box or folder and disposed around the periphery of the article. As shown in Fig. 1 the calendar 1 is held beneath slits 3 in the lid or top 2 of the box or folder. In the modification shown in Fig. 3, the calendar is held beneath tongues 4 struck up from the material of the top or cover 2; the tongues may be separate and fixed to the cover by pins.
