Abstract

A vehicle alarm system has a sensor which transmits a wireless signal to a specific remote receiver to actuate a selected audible or vibratory alarm device. The receiver may have a clip to enable it to be worn or carried by a person.

Description

2362015 Vehicle Alarm This invention relates to vehicle alarm systems
Description of Goods by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing.
According to one aspect ofthe present invention, a vehicle alarm system comprising of censoring means for emission of an audible and/or visual alarm signal, it's response to the alarm situation. The system also including means for transmission of a wire less signal to a remote receiver carried by an authorized persom The remote receiver comprises the means to alert the person to its existence of the alarm situation.
The vehicle alarm needs to be fitted with an alarm receiver both need a transmitter and receiver to fimetion, for the vehicle alarm to be activated a signal will be sent to the receiver unit, sot he owner may be alerted his)her vehicle needs attention.
The alarm receiver must be configured with the vehicle alarm so the vehicle alarm must have a transmitter device added to enable a signal to be sent out.
Once the vehicle alarm has been set a signal will be sent to the alarm receiver configured to that specific vehicle.
The owner would carry the alarm receiver on their person, in the event that the vehicle alarm is set off, it would send a signal to the alarm receiver & activate it to make an audible sound or vibrate. (This is dependant on which mode the owner has set the receiver.) Benefits 1) To prevent vehicle theft 2) Enables the vehicle owner to identify for certain it's their vehicle alarm that's been set off 3) Enables a quicker response time to attend to their vehicle 4) Gives the vehicle owner more peace of mind knowing their vehicle has extra protection.
5) Alarm receiver is small enough to be carried on the owners' person- 6) Should reduce vehicle damage, as the person causing the damage will know that the vehicle is fitted with a transmitter and receiver.
