Abstract
A cucumber shedder comprising a grid of stainless steel blades 5 with a square central blade for removal of the seed-containing centre of the fruit. The blades 5 are mounted in a square plastic mould 4 and inserted into the body 6. Cylinders 2, 3 are attached to the mould 4 and the body 6 and when the vegetable is placed into the cylinder the plunger 1 is utilised to push the cucumber through the mould 4, the blades 5 and the body 6 thereby removing the seed whilst also shedding the cucumber.
Description
2360693 CUCUMBER SHREDDER- The invention relates to a cucumber shredder.
A cucumber shredder consists of a square plastic body, with two types of plastic cylinders that lock on top of the body. The razor sharp stainless blades, which are inset in a square plastic mould, which are inserted into the body. The cucumber is then pushed through the cylinder tube, which removes seeds from the centre and shreds the cucumber.
The feature of this invention is to shredded cucumber whilst removing the centre of the cucumber with the stainless steal blades being set at certain measurements. A larger square dead centre to remove the seeds while cucumber is being pushed through.
Figure 1 shows components of cucumber shredder. Figure 2 shows components as would be placed.
A CLAIMS
1 A cucumber shredder compise a mould of razor sharp stainless steel blades, a body and cylinder tubes which are attached to the body with a plunger to ease the cucumber through the cylinder into the blades removing seeds and shredding the cucumber. 2 A cucumber shredder as claimed in claim 1 has removable mould with razor sharp stainless steel blades made as a grid with a larger square central of the mould to remove centre of cucumber. 3 A cucumber shredder as claimed in 1 and 2 has two removable cylinders and moulded blade for cleanliness. 4 A cucumber shredder as claimed in 1 and 2 and 3 has a whole body not shown in figures 1 and 2, numbers 4 and 6 as one. 5 A cucumber shredder as described herein with reference to figures 1-2 of the accompanying drawings.
