Abstract
Dry or wet suits are worn when scuba diving about the neck there is a seal to shop the water entering the suit especially the dry suit because the hood you wear to insulate the head is put on separately. The collar is very tight and uncomfortable when you wear the suit ready for a dive. So the diver generally does not put the suit on fully until he/she is ready to dive then it is a rush and you need another diver in the case of a dry suit to assist you to zip the suit up on the boat which is awkward. Which is where I believe the antichoke collar would benefit the diver the collar would take the pressure from the neck and throat. The diver would feel more happier putting the suit on much earlier which would less rushing before a dive. The collar could be removed just before the dive place then tucking the seal in place ready to dive.

This collar is for the relief of the pressure of the neck seal whilst wearing a dry suit or wet suit. Before you dive the pressure on the neck is most uncomfortable coupled with the aniexty of diving taking the collar out at the last minute just before you dive.

Claims (1). A collar which would be worn around the neck between the seal of a scuba diving wet or dry suit which is situated at the neck area to relieve the pressure of the tight seal on the throat.
(2). This item to be made of a non rustable material because of the contact with water a lightweight material for comfort and non abrasive because is worn close to the skin. For example plastic is a good material and non expensive also easy or economical to produce.
(3). The collar would be adjustable to fit different size necks. Realistically with a hinge at the back to open the collar to keep it as one piece then to clamp the collar around the neck to connect at the front to lock shut and adjusted at the side. Leaving enough space between the neck and seal for relief of pressure on the throat.
(4). The collar shall be rigid not to give, so as not to squeeze on the neck to be sum and round as to not irritate the neck or skin.
