Abstract
One or more electrodes 2, eg in the form of spikes, are situated in the intake airstream of an internal combustion engine and are supplied with charge from a battery or dedicated power supply but are insulated electrically from all other supplies or circuits. The electrode(s) impart(s) negative charge on to the airstream to be transported into the engine. The electrode 2 may be arranged in line with the airflow, or at an angle of 90 degrees to the airflow, or at any angle in between.
Description
CHARCEDONOR The invention relates to a charge donor.
An electric charge is applied to the intake of internal combustion engines.
A battery or dedicated power supply provides charge to an electrode or a number of electrodes.
The electrode/electrodes are in the form of a spike or spikes electrically insulated from all other supplies or ignition circuits.
The above electrodes/electrode to be situated in the inspired air stream of an interna combustion engine between the air inlet or intake and the combustion chamber.
Air friction removes charge from the electrode/electrodes.
The airstream transports the charge along with the fuel to the combustion chamber.
The combustion, combustion chamber metal, exhaust system metal all form the return path to the battery or dedicated power supply.
