Abstract

A twin-compartment container includes an outer case having a top, and an inner case 66 smaller than the outer case and arranged within the outer base thereby forming a compartment 666 between an outer top side of the inner case and an inner top side of the outer case. The container can receive two kinds of soft drinks so that one may use a straw to pierce through the outer case into the compartment 666 to have a first kind of soft drink and then pierce into the inner case 66 to sip up a second kind of soft drink after having finished the first kind of soft drink, or alternatively one may use the straw to pierce through the outer and inner cases to mix the two kinds of soft drinks to have a third kind of flavour.

Description

TITLE: A TWIN-COMPARTMENT CONTAINER FOR SOFT DRINKS BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention This invention is related to a container and in particular to one having two compartments.
2. Description of the Prior Art It has been found that the conventional container for soft drinks is designed for receiving only one kind of soft drink so that when required to carry different kinds of soft drinks, it will be necessary to bring a lot of containers thereby causing much inconvenience.
Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a twin-compartment container for soft drinks which can obviate and mitigate the above-mentioned drawbacks.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION This invention is related to a twin-compartment container.
It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a container which has two compartments for receiving different kinds of soft drinks.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a container which can mix two kinds of soft drinks to have a third kind of flavor as desired.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a twin-compartment container which is simple in construction.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a twin-compartment container which is easy to manufacture.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a twin-compartment container which is fit for practical use and mass production.
The foregoing objects and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.
Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.
BRIEF DESCRITPION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the present invention; FIG. 2 illustrates the structure of the present invention; FIG. 3 illustrates another structure of the present invention; FIGS. 4A and 4B show the working principle of the present invention; FIG. 5A illustrates a second preferred embodiment of the present invention; and FIGS. 6A and 6B illustrate the working principle of the second preferred embodiment.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT For the purpose of promoting an understanding of the principles of the invention, reference will now be made to the embodiment illustrated in the drawings. Specific language will be used to describe same. It will, nevertheless, be understood that no limitation of the scope of the invention is thereby intended, such alterations and further modifications in the illustrated device, and such further applications of the principles of the invention as illustrated herein being contemplated as would normally occur to one skilled in the art to which the invention relates.
With reference to the drawings and in particular to FIGS. 1 and 2 thereof, the container according to the present invention generally comprises an outer rectangular case 6 and an inner rectangular case 66. The inner rectangular case 66 is dimensioned to fit inside the outer rectangular case 6. The inner rectangular case 66 is fitted inside the outer rectangular case so that the outer bottom side of the former is in contact with the inner bottom side of the latter. As the upper portions 6A, 6B, 6C and 6D of the outer rectangular case 6 are folded to close the top thereof, a compartment 666 will be formed between the inner top side of the outer rectangular case 6 and the outer top side of the inner rectangular case 66.
Hence, a second kind of soft drink can be filled inside the compartment 666.
FIG. 3 illustrates another structure of the present invention. As shown, three inner rectangular cases 66 are fitted inside the outer rectangular case 6.
Referring to FIGS. 4A and 4B, one may use a straw 8 to pierce through the outer rectangular case 6 into the compartment 666 to have the first kind of soft drink.
After having finished the drink in the compartment 666, one may use the same straw to pierce into the inner rectangular case 66 to sip the second kind of soft drink.
Alternatively, one may use a straw 8 to pierce through the outer and inner rectangular cases 6 and 66 to mix the two kinds of soft drinks to have a third kind of flavor.
FIG. 5A illustrates a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIGS. 6A and 6B illustrate the working principle of the second preferred embodiment.
It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
Without further analysis, the foregoing will so fully reveal the gist of the present invention that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily adapt it for various applications without omitting features that, from the standpoint of prior art, fairly constitute essential characteristics of the generic or specific aspects of this invention.
