Abstract

234,745. Fornaca, G. Jan. 26, 1925. Field carriages.-A two-wheeled carriage 1 for rapidly transporting a field gun has a resilient suspension which is attached to the gun trail 6, as by bolts 3, when the trail is raised. On canting the trail downwards, the field gun is supported clear of the ground and the gun barrel can then be moved to the recoil position to bring its weight over the axle of the transport carriage. The eye 8 is coupled to another gun or to a tractor in the usual way.
