Abstract

A football kit designed to provided an indication of when a pulling foul has been committed by an opposing player where the shirt and shorts are made of two or more parts partly or totally detachably connected. The shirt has an opening (B) that divides the shirt front into two parts which are fastened by fastening means (A) to the point (C). The shorts (see figures 3 and 4) has an opening (B) that divides the sides of the shorts in a manner similar to that of the shirt with a fastening means (A).

Description

--- 2340379 lgiprovement in Footballers Shirts and Shorts This invention
relates to footballers shirts and shorts, which are designed in the case of the shirt in a T-shirt shape and in a normal shape of a short in the case of the short.
The football game or other known as soccer in the recent years has improved technically a great deal and has been played at a higher pace that it has ever been played at which made it very difficult for players and especially defenders to mark and tackle players especially strikers. This has resulted in the problem of shirt pulling and tugging which was very evident as a phenomenon at the 1998 world cup.
Shirt pulling and tugging denies players and especially strikers opportunities, advantage and goal scoring chances by 2- restricting players movement, slowing their running and imbalancing them and it mostly goes unnoticed by referees. The object of this invention is to provide the wearer of these shirts and shorts of more flexibility and space when been pulled and tugged in a football game and more clarity of the shirt and short tugging offence when been committed. According to this invention footballers shirts and shorts are designed to consist of two or more parts which are totally or partly detachably connected or removably attached. Preferably the shirt and the short are made of a very stretchable material. The shirt should be designed with an opening which put into a slit in the centre front. The opening could start from below the neck by six inches, suitable fastening should be sewn into the opening like touch and close (a -,.,-I) fasteners (Velcro)L The opening should be in such a position that they are easily fastened by the wearer. The short is designed with an opening on each side of the short's legs. The opening will run from the waist line to the end of the short leg. The openings will fastened by suitable fasteners like Velero.
A Preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
Figure 1: shows a front view of the shirt.
Figure 2: Shows a front view of the shirt when split.
Figure 3: shows a side view of the short.
Figure 4: shows a side view of the short when split. As shown in figure 1 the shirt has an opening B running to the point C which fastened by Velcro A.
Figure 2 shows opening B split by pulling Velcro A part.
Figure 3 shows the short having an opening B on the side of the short which is joint by Velcro A.
Figure 4 shows opening B partly split by pulling VelcroA apart.
In the shirt the centre front opening B is fastened by Velcro A to the point C which is 5 or 6 inches below the neck. When the shirt is pulled, e.g. from the back placing pressure on Velcro A which will splits up to the point C as shown in figure 2, giving the pulled player an extra yard or two, which comes from the length of the pulled part of the shirt, which could be very important in a football game or makes it very clear and evident of the shirt pulling olfence. In the short the centre opening B on the sides of the short which are fastened by Velcro A when pulled.
It will split as shown in figure 4 giving the player more fireedom to move and making the short pulling offence clear and evident.
