Abstract

233,883. Locker, T. May 15, 1924. Clips.-A clip for securing labels &c. to a surface such as the side of a railway wagon comprises a divided tubular spring 5 secured by a bracket 8 to the surface 7 and a frame 0 on a carrying member 10, which passes through the opening in the spring and through a hole or holes 12 therein. A bent-up flange 13 may be provided to cover the spring, and the member 10 may have an extension 11, which limits the opening of the clip. In a modification the bracket 8, Fig. 4, passes through the spring in the same manner as the carrying member 10 and retaining ribs 18, 15 are provided on both.
