Abstract
A full loadshare coilspring bogie suspension comprised of two loadshare beams (3) sitting above four coilsprings (2) atop two axle assemblies (1) of either live axle or independent axle configuration the axles (1) being located to the chassis (6) by 'A' Arms and control rods and suspended by the loadshare beams (3) and coilsprings (2). This loadshare coilspring bogie suspension has improved the level of performance for suspensions of this type as it offers several advances by giving increases in all of the parameters of ride quality, wheel articulation chassis platform stability and reduced chassis torque input, all resulting from the interaction of the loadshare beams (3) with the coilsprings (2).
