Abstract
To escape from a water submerged car, a gun is mounted on the dashboard. In an emergency the gun is aimed at the desired window and a release button is pressed. A missile is then fired to break the window, from which the glass fragments can be punched away to provide an escape route. The button also triggers a sound alarm.
Description
Re 'escape from water submerged cars'
I realise it is impossible to open car-doors against the pressure of water - I would present this idea
Many years ago, when travelling in a car with my husband, a stone thrown up from the road hit the windscreen, before laminated glass was fitted in windscreens: the glass became opaque, and when punched away, fragmented like dusty fragments. It was easily punched away without any cutting of the hands.
If a car is submerged in water, but lands on its back negating escape from the sun-roof, fortunately, the side -door glass windows afford with their safety glass an alternative escape route.
A gun (missile) should be affixed on top centre of the car dashboard- an emergancy button releasing the attachment, allowing the gun to be aimed at the desired escaping windows. The dusty fragmenting of the glass should then be punched away to permit escape.
The emergency button should also trigger off a sound-alarm to make the populare aware of the accident.

- Re escape from water submerged cars I realise it is impossible to open car-doors against the pressure of water-I would present this idea; Many years ago, when travelling in a car with my husband, a stone thrown up from the road hit the windscreen, before laminated glass was fitted in windscreens, the glass became opaque, and when punched away, fragmented like dusty fragments - It was easily punched away, without any cutting of the hands. If a car is submerged in water. Safety glass, in case the car lands on its back, should be fitted in the sun-roof and other escaping windows. If its decided not to use laminated glass in the windscreen, this could also be an escaping window; A missle gun should be affixed on top of the car dashboard - an emergancy button releasing the attachment allowing the gun to be aimed at the desired escaping windows The dusty fragments should then be punched away to permit escape; Fortunately if safety glass is fitted in sun-roofs and side door windows this would allow escape from more than one position if the car should land on its back; Aim gun after releasing fixed holding of the guns attachment with the emergency release mechanism button at the desired escaping window route. When the glass fragments-punch the glass away- The emergency button should also trigger off a sound alas
