Abstract

A sack holder comprises a D-shaped frame consisting of parts made of pliable material which are slotted together such as by dovetail joints. The frame has a carrying handle to which a pole can be fitted to lengthen the handle. The frame also has clips around its periphery to hold the mouth of a sack. The straight part of the D has a tapering edge to aid sweeping of rubbish across it.

Description

RUBBISH COLLECTION FRAME The Rubbish Collection Framefie.I is used to hold open various types of sacks, in different weights and sizes. It is made in a number of sizes for domestic and industrial use. It consists of pliable material that is slotted together to form an inverted 'D' shape. The straight edge of the 'D' is placed to the floor and a handle is fitted to the top of the semi-circle part to the 'D' . the waste sack is attached to this by slips around the outside edge. The Rubbish Collection Frame fix.2. now holds opens the mouth for the sack, enabling item of rubbish to be placed or swept into it, single handedly if needs be. A pole can be fitted to the handle to save bending while sweeping with a long handled brush. When full the sack is easily removed, tied and disposed of.

Claims (9)

  1. RUBBISH COLLECTION FRAME
    CLAIMS 1. The Rubbish Collection Frame can be made from pliable plastic wood and a metal alloy. It can have a number of pieces that will slot together. fig.5.
  2. 2. Following from claim 1 the Rubbish Collection Frame comes in a number of weights and sizes for domestic or industrial uses i.e. making the frame stronger for heavier use. fig. 1.
  3. 3. A sack made of polythene, plastic, paper or canvas is attached to the Rubbish Collection Frame via a number of clips mounted round the frame. Fig.3.
  4. 4. Linking with claim 3 the Rubbish Collection Frame holds the sack mouth open allowing items to be placed inside.
  5. 5. With claim 4 a short or long handle may be attached to help guide the Rubbish Collection Frame into the direction of the item to be inserted. fig.2.
  6. 6. Linked with claim 5 the Rubbish Collection Frame can be held in a horizontally position for sweeping into or vertically for placing items or rubbish into.
  7. 7. With claim 6 the Rubbish Collection Frame has a tapering straight edge to aid the sweeping process of rubbish into the sack. fig.4.
  8. 8. On job completion the sack is unclipped and the sack easily tied and disposed of
  9. 9. The Rubbish Collection Frame when not in use can be dismantled and stored flat.
