Light and other radiations, treating diseases with.-A bandage, pad, or the like carrying or embodying radioactive material is constructed in the form of a frame-like body so that only the healthy tissue surrounding the affected part is acted on by the radiations. The bandage &c. may be suitably covered to avoid exposure of the affected part. For example, radioactive material may be applied to annular corn-plasters, which are constructed so that the radiations act on the unaffected tissue at the margin of the corn. The radioactive material may be replaced or supplemented by substances, such as zinc sulphide, capable of emitting radiations after excitation by light.
