Abstract

A soft pad can be fitted to the seat-belt of any vehicle for the comfort of both drivers and passengers. It is manufactured in any colour, material with any type of fastenings. It may be attached to lap or shoulder straps or both. It could either be a permanent or temporary fixture on any vehicle.

Description

COZYPAD (Technical Field) This invention relates to the comfort of a seat-belt in any vehicle.
(Background) All vehicles are fitted with seat-belts as standard, however, to many drivers on the road they are often uncomfortable particularly in hot weather when undertaking long journeys. This product helps alleviate the discomfort endured by millions of drivers and passengers each year.
(Essential Technical Features) According te the present inv ion, there is a rectangular pad with vel cas tening that wraps around the existing sea -belt.
(Example) A specific embodiment of the invention will now describe by way of example referring to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 - illustrates in perspective, the pad in position on the seat-belt.
Figure 2 - illustrates an end elevation of the pad.
Referring to the drawings, the pad comprises of a soft rubber foam or similar material, 5mm deep x 300mm long x 140mm wide,.
On opposite edges there is a strip of velc w so that when wrapped around the seat-belt both the velcro fasteners overlap and meet as shown in Figure 2. The pad is wrapped around a vehicle seat-belt as shown in Figure 1, it can be attached to either lap or shoulder belts or even both. The pad can be adjusted for any driver or passenger, by simply sliding the pad up & down the seat-belt.

Claims (6)

1) A COZYPAD comprises of a form of padding that wraps around a seat-belt, for added comfort to drivers & passengers of any vehicle.
2) A COZYPAD comprises of as in claim 1, the dimensions of which are 5mm deep x 300mm long x 140mm wide, this may vary due to the size of drivers and passengers.
3) A COZYPAD comprises of, Wsin claim 1 & 2 of any type of fastening, i.e., velcro sus studs etc.
4) A COZYPAD comprises of as in claim 1, 2 & 3 manufactured in any colour or material.
5) A COZYPAD comprises of as in claim 1, 2, 3, & 4 can be permanently fitted to vehicles at the time of manufacture.
6) A COZYPAD comprises of as in claim 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 can be fitted as an accessory to any vehicle.
