Abstract

230,299. Gilchrist, G. A., and Stoker, N. April 15, 1924. Securing rollers on shafts.-A roller 1 suitable for guiding haulage cables is cast with a boss 3 at each end, each boss having interiorly of the roller a double eccentric hole 5 engaged by a key or cam projection 6 upon the roller spindle 9. The outer half of each boss has a round hole 4 adapted to fit upon the body of the spindle 9, but at least one of these outer half bosses is cut away to form a passage 8 through which the keys &c. 6 may be passed in assembling the parts.
