Abstract

Game apparatus comprises a billiards-type table provided with three pockets on each of its short sides and no pockets on each of its long sides, four markers placed two on each long side symmetrically and a playing surface marked with a straight line stretching between the two respective mid-points of the longer sides and a line rectangular in plan which is inset equidistantly from each cushion. The equipment also comprises 6 balls of one colour and nine balls of a contrasting colour, a hexagonal ball rack and a cue.

Description

CUE BALL 1.
The game is played from either end of the table.
A dividing line across the centre of the table signifies your playing area.
The pockets opposite you are your pockets.
Toss for first break and then alternating breaks.
On the first break only, any ball pocketed in either end of the table is scored, subsequently balls must be pocketed in the players own pockets or a foul shot will occur.

There are fifteen balls - six black and nine yellow. Blacks in the centre.
yellows surrounding. There is no set cue ball.
3. Scoring.
Blacks score ten points each. Yellows score twenty points each. Cannon shots score thirty poins each.
Any ball pocketed when hit with any cue ball is scored. The player continues until no ball is pocketed.
4. Canon.
A cannon shot is when the cue ball is pocketed after striking another ball.
5. Baulk lines.
Any ball lying outside the baulk line can be moved onto the line.
On both sides of the table there are black indicators. A shot cannot be taken from beyond this point as the shot becomes horizontal.
When two ball are lying horizontal and a shot cannot be taken, the player removes the nearest ball to him and places on his cue spot.
6.
When all the balls are in the opponents half of the table, the player should remove the ball lying closest to his half of the table and place it on his cue spot.
7. Foul shots.
Except on the break, any ball pocketed in an opponents pocket is a foul.
A foul occurs if the cue ball is pocketed without striking another ball.
When a foul occurs the player scores zero for that break.
The game is won when all balls are pocketed. The last ball is pocketed and scored. The player with the higher score wins.
THE INVENTION CONSISTS OF A StATE BED TOP WITH A PLAYING SURFACE MEASURING 6 FEET BY 3 FEET. A FRAME SURROUNDING THE TOP WITH FOUR BLACK INDICATORS ( FIG NO 4). AT EACH END OF THE SLATE BED THERE ARE THREE POCKETS (FIG 2). A BAULK LINE AROUND THE EDGE OF THE SURFACE ( FIG 3) TWO CUE SPOTS AND A CENTRE SPOT ( FIG 4) A DIVIDING LINE ACROSS THE CENTRE OF THE TABLE (FIG 3)= THERE ARE 15 BALLS , 14 AR@E RACKED(FIG 1/1 1/2 1/3 1/4) I BALL FOR CUEING.
