229,107. Swan, P. March 3, 1924. Measuring - tapes. - Relates to tape measures for use in the game of bowls of the type in which a tape case D is rotatably mounted on a pivot B carried by a cage A which is adapted to be placed over the " jack." Upon the casing support C is mounted a tape guide F having slot F<1> through which the tape E is drawn. The tape may ba clamped in any position by a leaf-spring H which is depressed by a cam G. A finger-piece J is fitted to the end of the tape. The reel D may be secured by a strap C<1> and a spirit level may be fitted.
