Abstract
The cigarette smoke inhibitor has a main body (1) that encases a cigarette (5) so that the resultant smoke is filtered before secondary smoking can occur in confined areas (i.e. restaurants), a detachable sleeve (2) is provided on one edge of the main body (1) and incorporates a mouth piece (3) at the opposite end of the cigarette butt (7), filters are located within the main body (1) and within the detachable sleeve (2) once the cigarette (5) has been inserted, it can then be smoked in the usual manner via the protruding cigarette butt (7). <IMAGE>
Description
A Cigarette Smoke Inhibitor
This invention reduces passive smoking in confined areas.
This hopefully will be an entirely new concept, although it will be akin to smokeless ashtrays, which have had limited success in the past.
However this is a simple, compact and easily carried item, which when used in public places (i.e restaurants, bars) will greatly climinate secondary smoking due to the reduction of drifting and exhaled smoke m the atomsphere.
Thus smoking in public will be more socially acceptable and less of a inconvenience to non-smokers.
This invention consists of a main cylinder which will have a smaller detachable sleeve attached along the top edge. This detachable cylinder will encase a replaceable filter through which inhaled smoke can will be exhaled mto.
The main cylinder will be perforated and will house a smaller inner cylinder. This smaller inner cylinder will also be perforated and of a heat resistant material. as this will house the cigarette. The cigarette is secured 'ia a mouth piece, which is on a screw thread to the inner cylinder.
In the space between the outer and @nner cylinders a replacable filter is located which will filter the smoking cigarette

The invention comprises a main tylinder (1), which will have a smaller detachable sleeve (2), which locates along one edge. This detachable sleeve has a mouth piece (3), through which inhaled smoke can will be exhaled into. This smoke will pass through a replaceable filter (not shown) and exit opposite the mouth piece (3).
The main cylinder (1) will be perforated and will house a smaller inner cylinder (4) secured via a catch or similar means (not shown).
The inner cylinder (4) will also be perforated and be of a heat reststant matenal as this will heuse the burning cigarette (5) The cigarette (5) slots into the inner cylinder (4) and is held in place by a locater mouth piece (6) which grips the cigarette butt (7) (grip not shown). The locator mouth piece (6) in turn screws onto the inner cylinder (4).
A replaceable filter (not shown) is located between the main cylinder (1) and the inner cylinder (4) once the mner cylinder is position in the main cylinder and held in place.
The cigarette can then be smoked in the usual manner from the protruding cigarette butt (7) via the locator mouth piece (6)
Claims (6)
1. A cigarette smoke inhibitor consisting of a main perforated body.
in the form of a cylinder capable of housing a second perforated body.
also in the form of a cylinder, thins second body being adapted to accommodate a cigarette. and being reasonably secured to the main body.
2. A cigarette smoke inhibitor as claimed in Claim 1. wherein an additional detachable body or bodies, in the form of a sleeve or cylinder.

3. A cigarette smoke inhibitor as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2.
wherem filters are provided in the body/bodies for the elimination of resultant smoke.
4. A cigarette smoke inhibitor as claimed in Claim lor Claim 2.
wherein the main body conststs of at least one perforated body in the form of a cylinder.
5. A cigarette smoke inhibitor as claimed in any preceding claim.
wherein any tobacco products are used.
6. A cigarette smoke inhibitor sustaintially as desenbed herein with reference to Figures 1-5 of the accompanying drawing.
