Abstract

227,383. Jackson, W. J. Mellersh-, (Paraffine Cos., Inc.). Aug 5, 1924. Coating with adhesive and powdered materials. -A fibrous base is coated with hard bituminous material and the coated base is covered on one or both sides with flaky or powdered metal such as a fine bronzing powder. The second operation is effected by a shaking sieve 7 and a fabric receptacle 16 containing the powder. A brush 23 on one or both sides removes superfluous powder. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 223,529.
