Abstract

6160. Phillips, G. van Z. April 24. Pads. - A pad for applying paste or polish to boots, leggings, &c. is formed with a felt, cloth, or other surface 5 secured to a backing 2 of paper, thin card, &c. folded centrally to form a handle 3 capable of being folded flat on to the back of the pad, so that a pad can be enclosed in each tin of polish. The backing and handle may be treated with a composition so that polish will not readily adhere to them. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 4609/15.
