Abstract
In a vertical type cooking fumes exhauster, when a curvilinear guide plate (125) is slid out, a micro switch (126) is triggered, which then starts fan motors (22'). Oily smoke is exhausted from cooker (51) on oven (5), through filter element (112; 33) in holder opening (11) of the main body (1) and then through oil pan (31). Thus oily contents are removed and the smoke becomes clean air. <IMAGE>
Description
Vertical Type Smokeless Exhauster The present invention provides a vertical type smokeless exhauster which is intended to be incorporated with a dispensing table and an oven installed in a kitchen.
Conventionally, an oily smoke exhauster is installed over a dispensing table/oven to suck and exhaust smoke by fan motors and then discharge the smoke to the atmosphere directly through a discharge pipe.
Since such an exhauster is installed over the oven, oily contents are adhered to the wall between the exhauster and the oven, and the installation of a cabinet at such wall is not possible. Hence, use of space is limited in a with this known exhauster.
In consideration of the above defects, the present invention provides a vertical type smokeless exhauster which has the following features: *(1) A giide plate holder with micro switch on the exhauster's body to start a fan motor for suction and exhaust of oily smoke by simply sliding out of the guide plate to trigger the micro switch.
(2) Vertical design to integrate with a dispensing table and oven.
(3) A curvilinear guide plate at an inlet port of the body to ease suction of oily smoke.
(4) The filter holder and filter element in the upper part of the main body make oily smoke to become clean air as the first filter process.
(5) The filter element in the oil pan filters the oily smoke as the second filter process, and the oil pan also collects the oily contents.
(6) The oil pan and filter element below the body ease collecting and removal of oily contents.
(7) Closed system includes two sub-filter systems.
(8) Beside the air box body, a frozen equipment wit frozen pipes to freeze the exhaust air and also lowering the temperature in the kitchen.
The present invention provides a vertical type smokeless exhauster. When the curvilinear guide plate is slid out, the micro switch is triggered, which then starts the fan motors and to exhaust oily smoke from cooker on oven, and then through the filter element in the holder opening of the main body completing the first filter process, and then through the filter element in the oil pan of the bottom of the main body completing the second filter process, and also collecting the oily contents in the oil pan, respectively.
The present invention is described further hereinafter, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:

Fig. 8 is a partial side view illustrating the function of the guide plate according to the present invention.
As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the present invention is composed of main body 1, an air box body 2, and an oil filter chamber 3. On body 1 is provided an opening 11 for receiving a guide plate holder 12 by means of a seating block 121. The guide plate holder 12 has a curvilinear wall surface 122 with a smoke exhaust port 123 with an movable door 1221 which can be opened, and a positioning slot 124 on the top for positioning a curvilinear guide plate 125, which can be slid along the positioning slot 124. On the upper side of. the guide plate 125 there is a micro switch 126 at an appropriate internal position in order to close a certain circuit when the micro switch 126 is triggered by movement of the guide plate 125. The circuit is used to start a fan motor 22 and 22' of the air box body 2.Inside the opening 11 of the main body 1, there on a filter holder 111 and a filter element 112 which are used for the first filter process. It is very easy to change the filter element 112 by opening the moveable door 1221 on the curvilinear wall surface 122. As shown in Fig. 3,
Under the main body 1, there is ventilation opening 13 at an appropriate position, in which the air box body 2 is installed and secured by fixing holes 26 with fixing bolts 25. In the ventilation opening 13, there is a long-curve opening 14 passing through the main body 1 to the opening seat 15. Two symmetric main-exhaust ports 151 and 151' beneath the opening seat 15 correspond with the long-curve opening 14. The air box body 2 also has a seating block 21 which is extended as a fan cover 211.
Two symmetric fan motors 22 and 22' are installed in the fan cover 211 and a sub-exhaust pipe 23 is positioned in the middle of these two fan motors 22 and 22'. A longcurve seating block 24 beneath the air box body 2 can be disposed in the long-curve opening 14 of the main body 1 is ventilation opening 13 and also made a connection with air box body 2 and the opening seat 15 of the main body 1.
As shown in Fig. 3, the oil filter box 3 comprises a oil pan 31 having a filter holder 32 and filter element 33. The oil pan 31 can be slid out using the lateral roller seats 311 and 311' corresponding with the roller rails 152 and 152' in the lateral inner wall of the opening seat 15 of the main body 1. Also, there are two opening 34 and 34'in the oil pan 31 which are matched with the two main-exhaust ports 151 and 151' under the opening seat 15. The filter holder 32 is leaning from the middle to the both side and the filter element 33 can be disposed in it.
As shown in Fig. 4, 5 and 6, the present invention is an integrated part of a dispensing table 4 and an oven 5. When the curvilinear guide plate 125 is slid out, the micro switch 126 is triggered, which then starts the fan motors 22 and 22' to exhaust oily smoke from cooker 51 on the oven 5, in the direction as shown by arrows, to the smoke exhaust port 123.
By means of the filter element 112 in the opening 11 of the main body 1, the oily smoke is filtered and becomes clean air through the first filter process.
Then, the motor fans 22 and 22' in the air box body 2 are used to exhaust smoky air from the fan cover 211 through the long-curve seating block 24 to the oil pan 31 in the long-curve opening 14. Oily contents in the oily smoke are removed by the filter element 33 in the filter holder 32 and then collected by the oil pan 31 through the leaning filter holder 32, and then completing the second filter process. Through the opening 34 and 34' in the oil pan 31, the air can be exhausted to the main-exhaust ports 151 and 151'. The oil pan 31 in the opening seat 15 of the main body 1 is a detachable design to ease removal of its oily contents. This smokeless functioned exhauster is constructed by these processes.
The guide plate holder 12 is of detachable design to ease removal of oily contents thereform.
As shown in Figs. 4, 5 and 6, Besides the air box body 2, there is a sub-exhaust pipe 23 connecting with a frozen equipment 6 which is provided with a frozen pipe 61. The part of the air from the motor fans 22 and 22' through the sub-exhaust pipe 23 to the frozen equipment 6 can be frozen by the frozen pipes 61 and then be exhausted by the exhaust pipes 62 to exhaust port 41 and 41' which is beneath the dispensing table 4. This air frozen functioned exhauster is constructed by these processes.
As shown in Figs. 7 and 8, the curvilinear guide plate 125 has a pair of fixing blocks 1251 at one end.
The curvilinear guide plate 125 also has two symmetric rollers I and II (1252 and 1253) at each lateral side thereof, slidably installed on two parallel curvilinear rails 127 and 127' on the guide plate holder 12. A fixing element 1271 extends from the upper end of the rail 127 for installation of a roller T17 1272 disposed below a positioning slot 124 provided with a positioning roller 128 therein to permit smooth sliding and contact of the guide plate 125. When the guide plate 125 is slid outwardly to the outermost position, a curvilinear position element 1271' at the upper end of rail 127' stops the roller I (L252) and causes it to contact a micro switch 126. In this way, whenever the guide plate 125 is slid to the outermost position, the micro switch 126 is triggered to connect the power source, and consequently the fan motors 22 and 22' are started.
This is a configuration which permits automatic starting of the fan motors 22 and 22' to exhaust smoke without requiring a further actuation of a switch.
