Clips, flexible-jaw.- A hanger for curtains, cords or other articles comprises a humped springable loop having its free ends 7 normally spaced apart and a sliding clamp or compressor 6 for causing the free ends to compress or release the suspended object. The clamp 6 enters depressions 4, 5 at the ends of the hump 3. Clamping shoes 8, which mav have rubber pads 13, are fitted to the curved ends 7 of the hanger. These shoes are wider apart at the inner end 9 than at the outer end 10 when the clip is open and thereby the usual gaping, when closed, is prevented. Two pairs of clamping pads may be carried by cross-bars on each limb of the loop.
