Abstract

225,923. Hammer, C., and American Metal Cap Co. Sept. 10, 1923. Cap-stoppers, bayonet-joint - In a glass container, the seam formed by the mould in which the container is cast is located at the rear side of projections 6 which fill or almost fill the space between a shoulder 4 and the lower ends of a pair of threads 5 formed with a pitch of substantially five to the inch, the arrangement permitting the mould to be opened without bearing away the ends of the threads and preventing the closure cap from being turned too far on to the container. Specifications 225,922 and 225,924 are referred to.
