BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to a continuous sealing machine with an improved sealing wheel. The conventional sealing machine is shown as Fig.l. The conveyer belt A conveys the bags for Pealing. Two steel belts B,C pull and planish the mouths of bags to keep flat and neat. Then the steel belt of heating device D seals the mouths of bags. The cooling device E cools the mouths of bags. The locating wheels F planish the air out frbm the bags. The embossing wheels G press figures on the bags. Finally, the date'wheel H prints the manufactured date. This kind of sealing machine has complex structure. Moreover, the steel belts B and C for planishing and pulling will be broken easily for their bad extensibility.
a, 1 2 SUMMARY OF THE 'INVENTION
3 This invention is to provide a continuous sealing 4' machine with an improved sealing wheel which has simple structure so that the fault rate will be low for the practical use.
The continuous sealing machine comprises a base having positive and negative electrodes which send the voltage through two single conducting rings to an electric heater which is inside the sealing wheel so that the sealing wheel can seal and emboss the mouths of bags.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
This invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying-drawings wherein; Figure 1 is the structure of the conventional sealing machine; Figure 2 is the structure of the sealing machine in accordance with this invention; Figure 3 is a solid view of the sealing machine in accordance with this invention; Figure 4 is an assembly view of the sealing machine in accordance with this invention; Figure 5 is a solid view of the second example of the sealing machine in accordance with this invention; 6 7 8 9 10 12 13 14 is 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 24 25 26 a, 1 2 3 6 7 DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
First, referring to Fig.2, this invention comprises 4. a conveyer belt 1 to convey the bags for sealing. Then the belt wheels 2,3 use the gap between belts to drag the mouths of bags which are sealed and embossed by heat sealing wheels 4. Finally, the date wheel 5 8 prints the manufactured date on the mouths of bags 9 to finish the process.
Second, referring to Fig.3, the heat sealing wheels 11 4 comprise a base 41-which has two metal ring supports 12 411,412 as positive and negative electrodes so that 13 the conducting rin-gs 42,43 can be supported to rotate 14 therein. The conducting rings 42,43 connect to the power supply. An insulating ring 44 inserts between 16 the conducting rings 42,43 to insulate two electrodes.
17 The conducting rings 42,43"have screw holes 421,431 to 18 provide bolts 422,432 connecting electric wires 423, 19 433. The conducting ring 43 has a round hole 434 for electric wire 423 passing through. In some situations, 21 22 23 2 4 26 the hole 434 has insulator to prevent short circiut between electric wire 423 and conducting ring 43. The insulating ring 44 is set at a shaft post 45 whose one end has a sprocket wheel 46 and another end passes through the shaft hole 471 of fixed plate 47 and the shaft hole 481 of fixed disc 48 to combine with sealing 1 1 - 4 wheel 49. The shaft post 45 has two slots 451 which are 3 to provide electric wires 423,433 passing through. The 4 ends of electric wires 423,433 connect an electric heater 40.
6 Fixed disc 48 has holes 482 to provide bolts483 7 passing through so that fixed disc 48 is fixed at the 8 screw holes 472 of fixed plate 47. The center of fixed 9 disc 48 has a bearing 484 for shaft post 45 rotating 10 smoothly.
11 Sealing wheel 49 uses a bolt 491 to combine with 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 shaft post 45..Sealing wheel 49 has a round hole 492 to insert an electric heater 40 which is fixed by a bolt 493. The face of sealing wheel 49 is figured surface. Hence, sealing wheel 49 is heated to high temperature by applying the power source to sealing wheel 49. By matching with lower sealing wheel 49', sealing wheel 49 will seal and emboss the mouths of bags as shown in Fig.4.
Referring to Fig.5, the sealing wheel 49 and the embossing wheel must separate to prevent to damage the bags which are made of PP or PE plastic materials. The sealing wheel 49 with an electric heater 40 inside has a smooth wheel face to seal the bags. Two embossing wheels 5, S' are behind the sealing wheel 49. The embossing wheel 5 combines with shaft 51 which rotates 2 3 4 5 11 1 with fixed disc 52. The one end of shaft 51 combines with a sprocket wheel 53 which uses a chain 54 to circle the sprocket wheel 46 of heat sealing wheel 4 so that embossing wheel 5 and sealing wheel 49 can rotate synchronously. Then the sealed plastic bags can be 7 embossed.
8 The structure of heat sealing wheel in accordance 9 with this invention is simpler than the conventional one. The works of sealing and embossing can be divided or united for sealing-bags made of different materials.

Claims (7)
- CLAIMS 1. A continuous sealing machine with an improved sealing wheelcomprising a base which has two metal ring supports as positive and negative electrodes so that said conducting rings can rotate therein, an insulating ring inserting between said conducting rings to insulate two said electrodes, said conducting rings having screw holes to provide bolts connecting electric wires, electric wires passing through two slots of said shaft post, the ends of electric wires connecting an electric heate which is fixed inside a sealing wheel, the face of said sealing wheel having figured surface, said sealing wheel being fixed at said shaft post whose one end has a sprocket wheel and another end passes through the bearing of said fixed disc to rotate therein, said sealing wheel being heated by applying voltage to seal and emboss the mouths of bags.
- 2. The sealing machine as claimed in claim 1, wherein said sealing wheel has a smooth wheel face, said embossing wheels being behind said sealing wheels, said embossing wheels and said sealing wheelsrotating synchronously to emboss the sealed plastic bags.a,
- 3. A sealing machine for providing a heat seal between superimposed layers of heat sealable material, including a rotary wheel the periphery of which is arranged to contact an outer one of said layers during linear relative movement of said layers and said wheel, wherein said wheel is provided with electrically powered heating means disposed at least partly within said wheel radially inwardly of said periphery thereof.
- 4. A sealing machine as claimed in claim 3, wherein said periphery is embossed.
- 5. A sealing machine as claimed in claim 3, wherein said periphery is substantially plain and wherein a further rotary wheel arranged downstream of the sealing wheel in the direction of linear relative movement of the layers past the sealing wheel has an embossed periphery arranged to contact said outer one of the layers.
- 6. A sealing machine having a sealing wheel having an electric heater disposed therein and having associated therewith two conducting rings for connecting electrical power to the heater.
- 7. A sealing machine substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to Figures 2 to 4 or Figure 5 of the accompanying drawings.
