Description
A COLLAR FOR PETS
The present invention relates toa collar (often referred to herein as a chain) for pets.
The conventional chain for a pet is normallY a rope or a belt made of leather, of which the function is merely limited to be a fastening device. Besides, it is rather difficult to disengage the button provided on the belt. In other words, these belts are not practical.
The present invention is to provide a multifunctional chain for belt by mitigate the above drawbacks. The buttons are durable, and easily operated Flashing effect is provided such that a pet can be easily found if it is lost at night, and facilitates the searching of the pet.
The invention will now be further described in terms of a non-limitative exemplary embodiment thereof and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig.1 is a perspective view of the multifunctional chain for a pet in accordance with the present invention;
Fig.2 i s a schematic view showing the position of the button in accordance with the present invention; and
Fig.3 shows the structure of the chain and the fastening element or the fastening seat in accordance with the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODYMENT = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Referring nov to Fig.1, which shows the perspective view of the present invention. The chain 1 has a hollow center region, which is mode from PVC plastic material and possesses excellent resiliency. A plurality of light emitfing element 11 is provided within the hollow center region. At one end of the chain 1, a fastening element 2, is mounted. The fastening element 2 is mounted to the end of the chain 1 by means of a ring structure 20 and then connected to the chain 1. The ring structure 20 is secured with a screw 21. REferring to Fig 3, a C-shaped ring structure 24 is provided within the inter ion of the end of said chain 1. The opening of the C-ring faces the direction of the screw 21.Thus, the chain 1 and the ring structure 24 are securely screved to the chain 1.
One lateral edge of the fastening element 2 is extended and mounted with a first fastening piece 25 having a plurality of button hole, at the other end of the chain 1, a buttoning element 3 is mounted which is used to be in engagement with the other end of the chain 1. The connection of the buttoning element 3 with the chain 1 is similar with that of the fastening element 2 and chain 1. A battery compartment is provided within the inter ion of the buttoning element 3 for the adaptation of battery. The power of the battery is controlled by a switch 34 at the buttoning element 3.
One lateral edge of the buttoning element 3 is provided with three protruded structure 32. The engagement of the protruded structure 32 with the button hole 26 of the fastening piece 25 forms a closed chain 1. The user can adjust the size of the closed chain 1 by adjusting the engagement position of the protruded structure 32 and the button hole 26. A ring 33 is provided on the top surface of the buttoning element 3 for the connection with other rope or chain while chained the pet.
Fig 2 shows a closed chain after the mounting of the ends of the chain.
Fig 3 shows the structure of the connection of the ring structure 20 with the end of the chain 1.
At the internal edge of the end of the ring strucbbture 20, a protruded edge 201 is provided and one end of the C-ring 24 is a tapered end 27. When the ring structure 20 is mounted to the end of the chain 1, the C-shaped ring 24 is mounted at the front end of the chain 1. Due to the engagement by means of the tapered end 27 of the C-shaped ring 24, and the protruded edge 201 of the ring structure 20, the connection thus fromed is very stable. At the same time, the external diameter of the C-shaped ring 24 is slightly larger than the internal diameter of the chain, the connection at the end of the chain 1 is thus expanded and firmly connected. When the chain 1 is pulled, due to the fact that the external diameter of the C-ring 24 is larger than the Protruded edge 201. The more force is applied in pulling, the engagement of the C-ring is tighter.
Thus, no dislocation will be occurred. Beside, the screw 21 pasese through the ring structure 20 and the chain 1, very secured connection is thus obtained.
Accordingly, while the invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to a preferred embodiment thereof, if will be understood br those skilled in the art that various changes in form and detail may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
