Description

ICCKiUL3 S CURl TY SOT This invention relates to a lockable rotor car, van, commercial vehicle seat.
Motor vehicles are mechanically propelled modes of transport comprising of a monogramed constructed body, or a body on a chassis which moves on wheeles. The prime purpose of a motor vehicle is to move the driver and passengers or goods to a required destination. In a motor car seats are fitted inside to the front and rear for the driver and passengers, and entry is gained through doors fitted to the vehicle.
Although a number of security devices are available on the market, motor cars are still a prime target for theft.
According to the present invention there are front seats in cars that tilt forward, and are adjustable for individual drivers requirements, which when fitted to two door (not including rear hatch) motor cars allows passengers access to the rear of the vehicle.
Front seats: the backs of these seats pivot in a forward direction from the base of the seat (towards the dashboard). The seat when in the forward tilt position can be locked at the pivot, this will then prevent any persons being able to sit in the seat in a driving position, and havi..g proper control of the vehicle in motion.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure 1 shows in perspective the seat in the normal driving position.
Figure 2 illustrates the seat in its forward tilt position and locked.
