Abstract

224,353. Thorp, G. Oct. 12, 1923. Handles with clamping devices for mops.- The mop material 8 is clamped and held in a cap 1, which may comprise a cupped part 2 and a dished flange 3, by means of arms 7 extending from the end of a socket 5 or other device for holding a stale or handle. The arms 7 pass through holes or slits in the cap, and are turned over as at 9 on a plate 10, to clamp the material between the plate and' the cap. The plate 10 has holes 11 or side recesses for the arms 7.
